Fund Raising Ideas
|

We are looking at meeting the increased demand for more literature and mailings of other items, such as DVDs and magazine subscriptions.
Our 250-page book “Is There Something Beyond Christianity” is in need of reprinting, along with some 75 or so mini-studies and booklets. The demand is great, but there are monetary costs involved with all of these.
We need your ideas and volunteers to help raise funds for these much needed outreach tools that will help others see the light of Yahweh’s Word. Would you be able to help? Do you know of some ways to raise funds that will encourage participation and further Yahweh’s work? If so, we’d love to hear from you!
Be encouraged to share and pray for the work that is ahead of all of us. Everyone’s help counts. Let’s be earnest and run the race with perseverance knowing there are goals to be made and accomplished.
With Yahweh’s help, who can be against us? Be a part of something big. Together we can help open the door and make a difference for others!

Q: Is tithing really fair? Some of us poor people need every penny we can get in today's troubled economy?
A: Tithing is the fairest of all! If one doesn't get much, less is required than from him who receives more. Tithing is Yahweh's way of involving all His people in His redemptive plan because of His great love for the poor. All have a part in helping proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom, and do so by their individual ability.

YAIY Beacon Cover
|
|||||||||||
To help improve the YAIY Beacon it was decided that we should outsource the cover to a professional print shop. The magazine has been done in-house at Yahweh’s Assembly in Yahshua to save on costs, but the two-color press we are finding out is not really up for doing a four-color magazine. The inside layout of the magazine with its articles will continue to be done in-house, while we outsource the cover to improve appearance.

New Insurance
|
|||||||||||
Church Mutual was recently chosen by the YAIY Board of Directors for coverage against earthquakes, tornadoes, terrorism, and other possible unforeseen problems down the road. Though we rely on Yahweh for our needs it is still necessary to acquire insurance at times in the society that we’re in.
This triple-A rated company really came through by providing us with attentive service and basic coverage while we were still in the negotiation process. After looking at and considering other insurance companies the decision was easily made.
Interestingly enough, we now have almost double the coverage over what was once in place, and all for a premium that is actually less in cost. Praise Yahweh!

A Few Pentecost Scriptures
And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day (on Pentecost), that it may be an holy convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations, Lev 23:21
And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place, Acts 2:1.
But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost, 1 Cor 16:8.
For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus, because he would not spend the time in Asia: for he hasted, if it were possible for him, to be at Jerusalem the day of Pentecost, Acts 20:16.
And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith YAHWEH, Is 66:23.
But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of YAHWEH shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it. And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of YAHWEH, and to the house of the Elohim of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of YAHWEH from Jerusalem, Micah 4:1-2.
Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of Elohim, and the faith of Yahshua, Rev 14:12.
….Come attend this year’s Pentecost on May 27th, 2007 in obedience to Yahweh!

Shalom |
|
||||||||||
Shalom is a Hebrew word, so much richer in its range of meanings than the English word “peace,” which usually refers to the absence of outward conflict or to a state of inner calm. The concept of shalom includes these ideas but goes beyond them, meaning “wholeness,” or “completeness,” “finished word,” “perfection,” “safety,” or “wellness.” Shalom comes from living in harmony with Yahweh. The fruit of that harmony is harmony with others, prosperity, health, satisfaction, soundness, wholeness, and well-being. When you pray to Yahweh Shalom you are praying to the source of all peace. No wonder His Son is called the Prince of Peace. Judges 6:23, 24.

Online Newsletter Response
Thank you for the recent welcome mail you sent me. I recieved it on Wednesday the 18th of April and I must say I was really excited to hear from you. I live and work in the Charlotte, NC area and it was at work that one of my colleagues…brought me a book titled -IS THERE SOMETHING BEYOND CHRISTIANITY?- which I must confess has been a great resource material. The teachings on the importance of knowing the real and sacred name of our divine Father and the observance of the Sabbath is very in-depth and is greatly appreciated. I really do look forward to learning and growing with you and the materials you provide. Thank you and may Yahweh our divine Father continue to guide you all.

Viral Outreach?
|
|||||||||||
When thinking of “viral” you might think of a disease, but when it comes to online video it means that a video is so “hot” or “unusually interesting” that it is sent or forwarded to just about everyone. YouTube.com and other video archival websites have become quite popular in this fast paced world. Some estimated 70,000 videos are posted daily just on YouTube alone. It might be a hard thing to get noticed with so many already posting, but the videos are broken down into areas of interest such as educational or religious.
We have some segments that are being worked on that run about 2 minutes each which will proclaim Yahweh’s Name and His Son’s Name, along with other neglected truths from Scripture. These, along with fuller length teaching videos, may be a small YAIY Outreach that could end up going “viral,” Yahweh willing. |

Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the assembly; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of Yahweh: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and Yahweh shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him, James 5:14-16.

Feast of Tabernacles Preparations |
|||||||||||
If you are not preparing for the Feast of Tabernacles this Fall (September 27 – October 4, 2007, contingent of the sighting of the new moon), you need to be! The most joyful of Yahweh's celebrations will soon be upon us.
|
|||||||||||
We are planning a memorial Feast this year at Camp Woodland Hills near St. Claire, MO. Many of us have been at this location in past years and have found it more than sufficient to satisfy our requirements. We pray that you will be able to be with us. Time is of the essence, so confirm your plans now by setting aside the necessary time to join us.
|
|||||||||||
Also known scripturally as the Feast of Ingathering, the Feast of Tabernacles is the highlight of the year. It depicts the general harvest, as well as the ingathering of the wine and the oil. More importantly, the observance points spiritually to the general harvest of souls at the end of Yahweh's plan for man. Therefore, this Feast is a key to salvation and it is incumbent on all of Yahweh's people to keep it as commanded.
Don't let the last annual observance of the year pass you by. This information is your invitation to join us. Often new brethren are unprepared for any of the annual Feasts. They then ask us which Feast they should keep. Our answer is that we SHOULD keep all seven Feasts, but especially Tabernacles. Zechariah 14:16-18 is clear in revealing that after the great battle around Jerusalem, all survivors will be forced specifically to observe Tabernacles.
Now is the time to plan to experience the full eight days of this Feast and learn as much as possible through inspired, daily messages, as well as numerous Bible studies, activities, and warm fellowship. Learning of the Feasts by participating in them now will prepare us for our role as priests in Yahweh's Kingdom.
Most brethren plan their vacations around the Feast days. Tabernacles and the Last Great Day constitute an eight-day celebration, the final festival of the year, and the spiritual highlight of the year. Yahweh notes in His Word that we are to save a special tithe (Deut. 12:17-18 and 14:22-26) to ensure that we are able financially to keep His Feasts. The first tithe is holy to Yahweh and is for Him, but the second tithe is for His people to use for the Feasts.
Shortly we will be making a special mailing to all with more information, including a reservation form, on celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles 2007 at Camp Woodland Hills near St. Claire, MO.
