The following question was recently asked: "I do not know who to believe. There is a teaching going around that there are at least two Messiahs, and that there could even be more. Is this so?”
Dear Brethren, Scripture gives us so many warnings of the dangers believers have to face. As long as human nature is around, falseness and deceit will be regarded as truth. We just need to look around us to see how man has twisted, maligned, and panel beaten Sacred Scripture. Man is inventing and controlling all the religions of the world which directly oppose Yahweh's Word in some way or another.
Yahshua warns us of the danger in the Assemblies, throughout the years of history, and the lustful control of men who turn away from the Truth, false ministers, liars, would creep in spreading "their" false doctrine to the unsuspecting members of the assemblies, as we see happening today, Rev.2:2.
Scripture warns us that some of the teachings of Judah became distorted, so much so Yahweh took away their ability of pronouncing their True Saviour's Name! (Jer.44:26). Judah chose for herself to follow writings of their own sages, much like the Christians who are set on following the writings of their so-called church fathers.
Qabbalistic teaching is so implanted into the Talmud, even the Karaite teaching of today opposes parts of Sacred Scripture. They all identify themselves as the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees, Matthew 15:2-6 repeated in Mark 7:3-9.
Our ONLY source of Truth is within the pages of Scripture, where Yahweh stated that His Word is Truth, and Yahweh cannot lie. Some people get quite offended to hear that Yahweh cannot do such a thing, but we find He has SET WITHIN HIS HEART never to lie. Yet He has permitted the world to be deceived because of the wickedness of man. Our only Guideline we are to have trust, and belief in, is Yahweh's Pure Word, but those who set themselves up as teachers, not conforming to Yahweh’s Word, should be left alone to their own destruction. They cannot say they did not know, when they themselves profess to know ALL Scripture! (Romans 2:2)
Getting to the question that there could be two or more Messiah's. There is only ONE answer to this and it is clearly pointed out in Sacred Scripture!
The New Testament in the first Chapter of John tells us of Messiah our Saviour, being the Word of Yahweh, from the beginning of Creation (Singular).
In the beginning, Elohim (Plural) created, Gen.1:1. We also read in verse 26, “Let US make man in OUR image.” A deeper study into Scripture shows Yahweh the Father was speaking to His Son. This has nothing to do with any of the other created spiritual bodies.
Yahweh's Word prophesied of a Saving Messiah Who is to come. This is recorded in the Old Testament. Here are just a couple of them: Isaiah 9:6-7 and chapter 53. There is no mention
...you shall not
be called ‘rabbi’
for one is your rabbi,
and that is Messiah.
And all of you
are brothers.

In This Issue
In Proverbs chapter 30 and verse 4 we are asked whether we know the Father and the Son's Name. ONLY ONE Father and ONE Son's Name is questioned, both being singular.
There is No other Messiah spoken of; or elected by, Yahweh. No other person lived a sinless life, as Yahshua did. Yahshua died for the sins of the world, there was no other living person, king, priest or prophet worthy to go through such a Sacrifice.
Only One True Messiah said: “No man can come to Me, unless the Father calls him,” John 6:44 & 65. “I am the bread of Life,” John 6: 35 & 48. Notice these are Singular. In Revelation, He Alone became the Lamb of Yahweh. Again, Singular.
1st Cor. 15:19-26 Is telling us of the One and Only Yahshua Messiah. The Anointed One. Rev.19:11-15 tells us the Messiah's Return will be with All POWER and AUTHORITY of the Almighty Yahweh. "He," "The WORD," is singular; there is no word in Scripture referring to Messiah as “Them!”
A false teaching going around is that anyone anointed in Messiah's Name is a potential messiah. That cannot be, Yahweh's instructions to the ministry concerning anointing is to be strictly for the anointing of people ordained into the eldership positions of the work of the Assembly. Deacons are appointed with prayer and hands laid upon them from the eldership, but without the use of oil.
The newly baptized receive of the Sacred Spirit after hands of the eldership are laid upon them with prayer, that they will receive the Spirit. Alternatively, the sick receive anointing with oil that they may be healed by Yahweh’s Spirit.
None of these anointings have any connection with the Anointing Yahweh bestowed upon Yahshua the Messiah, our Saviour.
Scripture shows us that there is No other who has ever lived in the heavens or on the earth who could hold that OFFICE. He is now our High Priest before the Mighty Father, soon to be crowned King of Kings when this earth is cleansed of all wickedness, and darkness. Note: "King" is singular. Blessings.
The Feast of Weeks (Pentecost) was certainly a delight for all at Yahweh’s Assembly in Yahshua, May 31st, Kingdom City, MO (USA). Noteworthy were the messages given on this day. Elders Don Mansager and Roger Meyer, without knowing what each other was going to talk about, spoke on the same topic of 2 Peter. Both gave insight and perspectives that were helpful to hear.
The Apostle Peter pointed out in 2 Peter 1:5-7 what we are to be doing, “...applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence, and in your moral excellence, knowledge, and in your knowledge, self-control, and in your self-control, perseverance, and in your perseverance, righteousness, and in your righteousness, brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness, love,” NASB. Both Elder Don Mansager and Elder Roger Meyer have been a fine example in these things, not compromising the Word of Yahweh, but standing firm these many years through diverse trials and tribulations.

Through many years your love-flame blazed in all sorts of weather

Whose strong arm upheld you when the onward journey seemed dim
Praise Yah from whom all blessing flowed to you for sixty years
Praise Him for the strength He gave ‘mid toil and sweat and tears
Praise Yah for the profuse zeal He freely to you impart
Praise Him for binding you together in purpose, mind and heart
Praise Yah through whom you have built a lasting legacy
Of obedience and trust in Him for your posterity
And for founding an Assembly with Yahweh as your guide
And for spreading His truths unto many brethren worldwide
May each day bring you closer to Yah and to each other
And may rivers of love o’erflow your hearts forever
May you be blessed of Yah each day for the rest of your life

Elder Don & Sister Mil Mansager were married June 26, 1949 at Detroit Lakes, MN. They have been blessed with three children, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Over the years they have built many homes with Elder Don being the carpenter and Sister Mil being the decorator and adding her own flair to each home.
When they learned of Yahweh and Yahshua they visited many people in the United States and Canada to help those who were seeking answers about the Scriptures , to encourage them and also at times to baptize them. One was always welcomed into their home to visit, have a Bible Study or even for Sabbath services. Sister Mil has a knack for making a meal special even if she didn't know you were coming.
They are fine examples of what Yahweh wants His people to be. May Yahweh continue to bless them.
