“...they that wait upon Yahweh shall renew
their strength;
They shall mount up with wings as eagles;
They shall run,
and not be weary;
And they shall walk,
and not faint.”
—Isaiah 40:31
When reading the following passage out of the Book of Daniel, one must understand that the kings mentioned are not in any way related to the tribes of Israel. Yet, we are to be aware, that many Israelites were absorbed into ALL the nations of the world. Yahweh scattered them into foreign lands due to their disobedience to Yahweh’s Word. This is the reason why Yahshua’s disciples are instructed to go out into all the world, preach the soon coming Kingdom of Yahweh, and to be witnesses to Yahshua the Messiah, Matthew 28: 19-20, James 1:1.
Daniel 11:40-45 says, “At the time of the end, the king of the south shall attack him. But the king of the north shall rush upon him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and horsemen, and with many ships. He shall advance against countries, and pass through like a flood. (Habakkuk 1:11) He shall come into the beautiful land, and tens of thousands shall fall victim, but Edom, and Moab, and the main part of the Ammonites shall escape from his power. He shall stretch out his hand against the countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape. He shall become ruler of the treasures of gold, and of silver, and all the riches of Egypt; and the Libyans, and the Ethiopians shall follow in his path. But reports from the east, and the north shall alarm him, and he shall go out with great fury to bring ruin, and complete destruction to many. He shall pitch his palatial tents between the sea and the beautiful holy mountain. Yet he shall come to his end, with no one to help him.”
Please keep in mind we are dealing with the King of the South. The Northern Kingdom, will also be a great contention to Yahweh’s called out people, let alone the rest of the world. This Northern kingdom shall be a modernistic revival of a Babylonian/Christian/Gentile, religious/political system and be predominantly centered in the Roman Catholic controlled nations of Europe.
Identification?
Can we identify this “kingdom of the south” in this modern world, during this period of mans’ rule? We are told through Daniel’s prophecy that the general area in which this king of the south operates is basically The Middle East, and north African Nations! This is where Islam is, in general, the ruling religion in all the nations around, and beyond Israel’s borders. No one can deny this predominant religion, which is growing by the minute throughout the world.
In 2004 we find that there are 23 million members of the Islamic faith living in Western Europe. Many observers say that there is no greater threat to western society than Islam. In one way this is so, as this article explains further, but in truth this modern western civilization is in itself heading for self-destruction, Romans 3:10-17.
Not many people realize with all the negative publicity of Islam, as being the major author of terrorism, that after the 9/11 horror, many looked into the Koran, and during that brief period, from the 12th September, to the 10th November 2001, 34,000 in US alone joined the Islam faith as the religion of “brotherhood and peace.”
“Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Master. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.”

A religion of peace?
“The Koran has arrived on the scene of world domination, and has come to devour the Bible,” is a quote by a Jewish source and for good reason. Common graffiti in Arab lands read: “First (we kill) the Saturday people, then the Sunday people.”
The Koran itself reads: “Lo the infidels, the people of the Book, will abide in the fire of hell. They are the worst of created beings,” Surah 98:6. “Fight the infidels…. Fight them! Allah will chastise them at your hands, and he will lay them low, and give you victory over them,” Surah 9:12-14.
Few are told what this religion teaches, Islam recognises the Christian Jésus as a messenger, prophet, but not the Son of Yahweh. At the Temple mount, in the Dome of the Rock, which is situated on the Mount of Olives, where Yahshua will return, is an inscription, which read: “Allah has no need of a son”
Islam has enticed Christianity to compromise with her, but Islam will not compromise with Christianity, or any other religion. Islamic temples, and teachings are permitted in countries all around the world, but any other religion, besides that of Islam, are not tolerated in Islamic controlled countries.
Let us understand certain teachings which, the Koran leads its followers into believing. This is what it says about the Scriptures we have been brought up to believe, and have faith in: “Woe to those who wrote the Scripture, and say: ‘This is from El,”’ Surah 2:79.
Here is what they are told about the peoples of the Bible: “Fight against those who have been given the Book (ie. Jews & Christians) but believe in Allah for they follow not the religion of truth (ie. Islam) until they pay tribute and are brought very low,” Surah 9:29.
Anti-Messiah
The Koran teaches the denial of Messiah, by saying, “Warn Those who say, Allah has chosen a son…. Dreadful is the word that comes out of their mouths. They speak nought but a lie,” Surah 18:4-5.
“Also, people of the Book (ie. Christians) Do not exaggerate in your religion… the Messiah, Yahshua son of Miriam, was only a messenger of Allah….. Allah is only one G’d. Far be it removed from His transcendent majesty that He should have a Son,” Surah 4:171-172.
“And say, Praise to Allah, who has not taken a son for himself, and who has no partner in sovereignty,” Surah 17:111.
Surah 112 is one of the shortest and is the most commonly recited surahs (chapters), noted as the essence of the Koran, which denies Yahshua, “Say Allah is one…. He begetteth not, and there is none comparable to him.”
They have made it clear, there is no common ground between any religion and Islam: “You have your belief, and we have ours,” Surah 109:6.
We are led to assume the following indicates equality of faiths, or at least tolerance. IT CERTAINLY DOES NOT!
“I don’t worship what you worship; you don’t worship what I worship. I will not worship what you worship, and you will not worship what I worship. Allah’s revelation to Mohammed and all Moslems is this: They (People of the Book) say, If you are a Jew, or a Christian, you are rightly guided. Mohammed, say to them: NO! Moslems say: We believe in Allah and that which is revealed to us!… If they believe you, believe then they are rightly guided,” Surah 2:135-137.
We must also note that most religious and political leaders actually pay homage to Islam, so as to be able to negotiate any kind of business with them, especially in the Middle East. All this for the sake of Peace!
For a few years under Clinton and under Bush, the festival of Ramadan has been celebrated in the White House. It is reported that Blair removed a plaque of the “Lord’s prayer” from the walls of 10 Downing Street, and replaced it with verses from the Koran. Blair publicly announced that he reads, and respects both the Bible and the Koran. There was a photograph on the Internet just recently of the Roman pontiff kissing the Koran! Also, an Islamic mosque has been built in Rome, not far from the Vatican!
Watch carefully when you see peace agreements signed between Moslems, and Westerners. If the Moslem is wearing a turban with a tail of cloth hanging down at the back, he is making a statement: “I AM IN JIHAD” even whilst signing the treaty!
“Freedom from obligation is proclaimed from Allah and his messenger towards those of the idolaters (Jews, Christians and other infidels) with whom you have made a treaty,” Surah 9:1.
“ How can there be a treaty, if they have the upper hand?… Fight them! Allah will chastise them at your hands, and he will lay them low and give you victory over them,” Surah 9:8,14.
What to do?
After receiving this information we all must realise no genuine treaties nor peace agreements can be made between Islam and any other religion or nation of the world.
This shows us clearly that we all have to have faith and obedience in Yahweh for wisdom and protection, knowing He has control over the minds of men.
We as Yahweh’s people must not be drawn into making contracts, or agreements of peace, between any nations, or religions of diverse beliefs, which do not strictly obey the Law of Yahweh. In doing so, we will completely loose Yahweh’s promised protection.
May this information help guide you, as you watch, and take notice of occurrences taking place between peoples, tribes and nations of this world, as man’s rule draws to its close. Remember Yahshua’s warning: “Be not deceived for many shall be deceived,” Matthew 24:4-5.
We are assured by Yahweh’s Word, that a Great Rock (Daniel 2:34-35, 45) will break the power of the nations, and Yahshua will set up His Kingdom here on this earth, 1st Corinthians 10:4. Thy Kingdom Come, O Yahweh.

It is evidently this realization that caused Satan and a third of the angels to rebel, as they knew that mankind would be offered a greater position than they themselves could obtain.
