In the book of Genesis, Yahweh created Adam from the dust of the ground. Then |

He created Eve with one of Adam's ribs, while Adam slept. Yahweh gave Adam | Yahweh Creates..
and Eve the ability to think and reason, not like the animals that rely on instinct to | Finding Fruit

gave Adam and Eve a beautiful garden to live in. The garden of Eden was a lovely | Fruits of the Spirit
place filled with delicious and nutritious fruit. | What is an Altar?
Scriptures to Study | ||||||||
In the middle of the garden of Eden was the |
||||||||
tree of the knowledge of good and evil and the
tree of life. Yahweh commanded Adam and Eve
not to eat of the fruit from the tree of the knowledge
of good and evil. Lots of bad things would happen
if they did. Living in the garden was an evil spirit
who took on the appearance of a serpent. We | “Children, obey your parents in the Master, for this is right,” Ephesians 6:1 |
|||||||
believe this spirit was Satan, the devil.
One day the serpent asked Eve, "Why doesn't |
||||||||
Yahweh allow you to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? "
"Because," Eve explained, "we will die if we eat from it." |
||||||||
"No!" hissed the serpent, "Yahweh knows that when you eat of it you will |
||||||||
become like Elohim, understanding all things both good and evil." So Eve took fruit
from the tree and ate, and her husband also ate.
It came to pass that Yahweh confronted Adam and Eve. Adam blamed Eve and |
||||||||
Eve blamed the serpent. So Yahweh punished all three.
Yahweh told Adam and Eve they were no longer welcome to live in the garden |
||||||||
of Eden. Because of their sin everyone in the world would suffer. This has
certainly happened. We see wars, famine, illness, disease, and much pain in the
world today. The ground brought forth thorns and thistles and Adam had to work
very hard. And children would be born, through much pain in their mothers. The most
profound curse, however, was death. All humans grow old and die. But because of
Yahshua, we can have eternal life. One day Satan will no longer be around to
torment humanity. It will be a wonderful time for those who love Yahweh.

Peter came to Yahshua and asked, "Master, how many times shall I forgive my

not seven times, but seventy times seven times." (Matthew 18:21-22)
