||||||||
If you walk into any store during the Spring season, you will likely see rows and rows of candy (often egg-shaped), Easter baskets, and other holiday-related items. But what do eggs and rabbits have to do with worshipping Yahweh? Absolutely nothing! Yahweh’s children know better than to celebrate pagan holidays. When the Israelites were slaves in Egypt, Pharaoh began to worry that the Israelites were becoming too numerous. He decided that all baby boys born to the Israelites were to be killed! But Moses’ mother put him in a basket and hid him among the reeds. Pharaoh’s daughter found him and raised him as her own son. Yahweh later used Moses to lead His people out of the land of Egypt. | ||||||||
