What Did the Apostle

Paul Teach About Love?

Inside this issue:

The book of 1st Corinthians contains beautiful words about love!  It was written at       What did the Apostle
a time that Paul was feeling sad because the Corinthians were boasting about what       What is the best way
they could do.  They indeed had great abilities, but Paul wanted them to remember       Word Scramble
the more important things, like  having proper       Leaves are falling!
love.

Paul even went so far as to say that without
"For this is the

love, they had nothing!  Even offering
love of Yahweh

themselves as a burnt offering would mean
that we keep

nothing without love.  Here is what Paul said:
His command-

ments and

“Love is patient, love is kind. Love is not jealous,
His command-

it does not brag, and it is not proud.  Love is not

easily.  Love does not remember wrongs done
-1 John 5:3

against it.  Love is not happy with evil, but is

happy with truth.  Love bears all things, believes

all things, hopes all things, endures all things.  Love never fails.  Three things will last forever:  faith, hope,
and love.  But the greatest of these is love.”

What about you?  Do you ever brag?  Are there times that you are easily angered?  If so, you need
to work to remove those qualities that Paul warned about, so that you, too, can have the proper kind
of love.

The Leaves are Falling!

By now, most places are well into the Autumn season.  Even warmer US states are noticing the leaves turning colors and falling to the ground.  Fall is a favorite season for many people because of the beautiful colors.  Leaves can turn shades of yellow, orange, red, various shades of brown, and even purple!  Color the leaves below in Autumn colors—usually not green though!
